About UsRAS AL KHAIMAH

Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) city is one of the seven emirates that comprise the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its name means “Head of the Tent”. Sailors passing by called this Ras Al Khaimah, which in Arabic signifies the point of the tent.

The city of Ras Al Khaimah nestles at the foot of the Al Hajjar Mountains and is divided by a natural creek into the old town on one side and the new business centre of Al Nakheel on the other. It is ruled by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad al-Qassimi.

In the year 2000, the Lord spoke to Pastor Elyas to pioneer the church of Antioch in this city. After much hesitation to obey the call due to the diabolical nature of the spiritual climate, by the grace of God he started with three families. with much prayers and perseverance God has given us victory by adding to the church expatriates from various nations such as Philippines, India, Madagscar, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Malysia and Eriteria. at present many are coming to worship the Lord.

We bless the Lord for the way He is working among us by uniting us together irrespective of our background, color and language. as it says in Psalm 133:1 "How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!” Ephesians 4:3 “Through the peace that ties you together, do your best to maintain the unity that the Spirit gives.” we see a much closer relationship among the members who meet, fellowship, pray and visit one another through out the week.

Our church is located at Al Mamourah - Nakheel, behind immigration, beside the Indian School and near to Kerala Samaj (Association). Our worship program is conducted at St. Luke's church compound every Thursday from 8:30pm - 10:30pm. Bible study every Friday from 9:00am-11:00am and Intercessory prayer Thursday 8:00am-10:00am.
